If you're tired of bolting EU compliance onto a US tool

Mindbody supports SEPA Direct Debit in the EU - that much is true. What it does not do well is treat EU compliance as a first-class concern. PEPPOL e-invoicing, which is already mandatory for B2B invoicing in Belgium from 2026 and rolling out across other EU member states, has no documented support in Mindbody as of April 2026. If you invoice gyms-on-gyms (multi-site operators, corporate wellness, franchising), you have to bolt on a separate PEPPOL access point.

Look at contract length, renewal language, app costs, marketing add-ons, export scope and what happens when you leave.

The exit story needs planning before the cancellation window. Full export scope, payment references and financial history should be confirmed before you choose a switch date.

If you want AI that actually touches the operations, not just the chat widget

Mindbody's AI product, Messenger[ai] (rebranded Bowtie.ai after the 2019 acquisition), is essentially a chat and SMS bot: missed-call text-back, front-desk chatbot for FAQs, and automated nudges toward package or membership upsell. Useful - but its scope ends at the conversation.

Yes. Shredeo is built in the EU for EU operators. Member data is stored and processed in the European Union under GDPR. Every gym workspace has strict data separation, granular staff permissions (five roles, 50+ permissions), a cascading account-deletion workflow for right-to-be-forgotten requests, and a GDPR audit log that records who accessed or exported what. How do we migrate from Mindbody?

Start by triggering your Mindbody data export during the 30-day cancellation notice window - don't wait until after. We import clients, memberships, class packs, and attendance history from the standard Mindbody CSV format.
